We have two separate camp groups, Junior Adventures (ages 6 to 14) and our Youth Adult Leadership Program (ages 16 to 26). JA focuses on getting kids with disabilities outside more often to gain skills in outdoor recreation. YALP focus on gaining leadership skills and independence for all aspects of life. In general, our goal is to enhance the quality of life through adaptive recreation.

Dream Oaks provides day and residential year-round camp experiences for children, 7-17, with special needs and/or chronic illnesses.

Heartland Academy of Texas is a year-round program that is offering camps. The summer camp 2026 is a 9-week program with themes for each week.

Camp Setebaid at Mount Luther/HDYC is a normal summer residential camp for youth living with T1D. Staffed by mature adults who have experience with T1D who are complimented by a medical team with diabetes expertise to assure the campers are safe during their time at camp.

Summer Camp at CLC is an opportunity for students of all ages to come for an intensive four-week session of conductive education. Groups of students, similar in age and physical challenges, learn mobility skills, independence, and functional daily living skills, within a supportive group atmosphere of fun and adventure. Students meet for three to six hours per day depending upon their group and age.

Camp Sharing Meadows provides recreation, fellowship and learning in a non-judgmental atmosphere in which the values of independence, self-esteem, spiritual growth and socialization are stressed.

We will have so much fun learning about all of our rescued animals, grooming them, feeding them, and making animal- related crafts. We will also learn basic horse training, leading, and bonding with the horse.

Indy Parks Camp GATHER/GOM is a day camp that services youth ages 6-18 with physical and (or) intellectual limitations. In our 7-week day camp, campers will participate in activities such as life skills, motor skills, community programs, and communication skills.
