Adirondack Expressions Art Camp is a joint project of the Transitions program and the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts. The camp is for young adults aged 15-27 who have learning differences and want to learn about art. Students can choose to stay overnight at the camp or attend just for the day. The activities, projects and social events here will promote each camper's unique talents, creativity and self-esteem!
Transitions programs teach young adults with autism, ADHD, nonverbal learning disabilities and other learning differences skills such as executive functioning, leadership, self-advocacy, wellness, social relationship building and independent living. Students also experience socially rich recreational opportunities, memorable Adirondack outings, college tours and entertainment opportunities in a safe, supportive environment.
Camp Reece is a sleepaway camp designed for children and teens with special needs, offering a supportive, inclusive, and adventure-filled summer experience. Unlike larger camps, we keep our community intentionally small so every camper is truly known, supported, and celebrated for who they are. We offer this program at four campuses, NYC, CT, NJ and LI.

Kamp Kiwanis offers a unique Kamp experience for campers ages 8-14, a teen program for teens ages 15-17 and for adults with high functioning special needs ages 18+. The child program at Kamp is designed to mainstream all kampers including up to 20 each session with special needs. We want our Kampers to explore the world through environmental and cultural activities while respecting the rights and dignity of all kampers and staff.
